Pedestrian dies after accident involving bus in Auckland

A man, a pedestrian, has died after an incident involving a bus in central Auckland last night.

The incident happened at the intersection of Karangahape Road and Pitt Street.

Police say they were called to the scene at 9.57pm and the man died at the scene.

The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
