Man charged with manslaughter over another man's death in Auckland car crash

A 27-year-old man who was earlier charged over a fatal three-car crash at a busy east Auckland intersection last month now faces the additional charge of manslaughter.

The new charge relates to the death of a 50-year-old man killed while in his car at the intersection of Botany Road and Ti Rakau Drive, in Botany Downs, on January 28.

He is due to appear in the Manukau District Court on March 20.
