Numerous arrests in south Auckland for disorderly behaviour

Police have made a number of arrests for disorderly behaviour in the south Auckland suburb of Otahuhu tonight.

Police have made numerous arrests for disorderly behaviour this evening in south Auckland.

The public are being advised by police to avoid the Otahuhu town centre, following the disorder believed to be caused by rugby fans celebrating.

Officers are in Otahuhu where a number of arrests have been made in response to the disorder.

In a statement police said they will maintain a continued visible presence in the area as the situation is controlled.
