Two people have been injured – one critically – following an incident in South Auckland this afternoon.
Police said the incident occurred on Harwell Pl in Māngere this afternoon.
An injured person was then taken to the nearby Māngere Community Health Centre on Waddon Pl before being taken to hospital.

"Police remain in the Māngere area and are continuing to piece together exactly what happened and how the man came to be injured," police said.
Hato Hone St John said it was notified of the incident on Harwell Pl around 12.33pm. It responded with two ambulances, two rapid response units and one operations manager.
"Our ambulance staff treated two patients and transported them to hospital."
One person was in a critical condition while another sustained moderate injuries.
Footage shot by 1News from the scene showed armed police officers guarding a vehicle outside the Māngere Community Health Centre with what appeared to be a bullet hole through the boot.
Police said an injured person was being treated at the medical centre.
