The search phase for missing 63-year-old Dunedin man Gordon McLean has been called off, but police are still looking for any new information.
Mr McLean has now been missing for over two weeks, after he left his rehabilitation unit at Wakari Hospital.
A police spokesperson said "a significant amount of police and volunteer went into what amounted to a very comprehensive searching of the surrounding area where he was last seen, however it failed to show any sign of Gordon."
"The file remains active and police are still looking for new information and following up any sightings that come in," she said.
