Man charged with attempted murder after woman stabbed in Thames

A 36-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in Thames. 

Police launched a mahnunt for Arana Barlow yesterday evening after he allegedly fled the scene, taking a two-year-old boy with him.  

Barlow was found in Auckland late last night and the toddler has been reunited with his family. 

The woman remains in a stable condition, awaiting surgery at Waikato Hospital.
