Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement are bringing the "guitars out of the tall grass" this November for Flight of the Conchords' first New Zealand tour since 2012.
"Kia ora Aotearoa! You asked, and we listened," the duo wrote on Facebook.
"We're bringing the guitars out of the tall grass and heading your way this spring for three very special shows in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch."
The duo surprised Wellington in April with five shows at Meow Nui — their first live performances after an eight-year hiatus — which sold out within minutes and sparked a frenzy among fans.
Flight of the Conchords announced on Monday they'll perform two shows at Wellington's Michael Fowler Centre, on November 10 and 14, before heading to Christchurch's Wolfbrook Arena on November 12, and finishing with two nights at Auckland's The Civic on November 18 and 19.
Tickets go on sale September 18 at 1pm.
McKenzie and Clement formed the musical comedy act in 1998, rising to worldwide fame off the back of their self-titled HBO comedy series, with songs including Business Time and Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros.
