Prince George has started at Eton College today, and was accompanied by his father and mother, the Prince and Princess of Wales.
William and Catherine carried umbrellas as they brought 13-year-old George, wearing a jacket and tie, to be welcomed by the head teacher, the BBC reported.
"Welcome, good luck and enjoy," said Simon Henderson, shaking hands with Prince George.
His start date - September 8 - also marked exactly four years since the death of George's great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth.

The future king follows in the footsteps of his father - and Uncle Harry - in attending the elite private school, which has taught 20 British prime ministers.
Fees were around £65,000 (NZ$150,257) a year.
The young prince would board at the school, which has 25 boarding houses, each home to approximately 55 pupils starting from the age of 13, who are looked after by residential staff headed by a house master.
Old Etonian celebrities include Eddie Redmayne, Dominic West, Damian Lewis and Tom Hiddleston.
