Three arrests have been made following an alleged shooting at a property in Dinsdale earlier this week.
Police were notified of the incident at around 2.15am on August 24, and the victim sustained injuries appearing to be a gunshot wound.
An air pistol and drugs were later found at the address by police.
“On Thursday, a warrant was executed at an address in Melville, with the assistance of the Armed Offenders Squad and specialist groups, where three people were located and arrested," said Hamilton City area commissioner, Inspector Scott Miller.
Two men, aged 25 and 29, and a 25-year-old woman are due to appear in court today, following the incident.
The 25-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and unlawful possession of prohibited ammunition.
The 29-year-old man faces charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and possession of methamphetamine.
Meanwhile, the woman, 25, faces a charge of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The victim was taken to hospital following the altercation but has since been discharged.
Miller said the investigation remained ongoing and further charges have not been ruled out.
