The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appear to have taken Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to visit the childhood home and burial place of Diana, Princess of Wales, during a recent trip to the UK.
In family photos shared by Meghan on Instagram, Harry, Archie and Lilibet could be seen walking down a tree-lined avenue that appeared to be at Althorp House.
Another image from the post showed Archie walking barefoot across the estate at sunset.
Althorp House was the historic Northamptonshire estate where Diana, Princess of Wales, spent much of her childhood.
The Spencer family had owned the property for more than 500 years, with Diana buried on a secluded island in the estate's Oval Lake.
The visit came during the family’s recent trip to the UK, which also included a reunion with King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House, a country estate west of London.
It was the King’s first meeting with Archie and Lilibet since Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June 2022.
That visit also coincided with Harry losing his final lawsuit against the British tabloids, with a judge ruling hat he failed to prove his privacy invasion claims against the publisher of the Daily Mail.
Before arriving in the UK, the Sussexes holidayed in Portugal. Meghan captioned the Instagram post “Summer holiday” and shared photos of the family spending time together.
