A body has been found in the search for missing woman Wolvedi Ding, Auckland police say.
Wolvedi, 20, was last seen walking along Birdwood Rd in Swanson at around 8.20am on July 17.
Police and search teams recovered a body in the Swanson area yesterday.
"While formal identification processes are still underway, police believe the body is that of the missing 20-year-old," Detective Inspector Megan Goldie said.
"Police extend their deepest condolences to the woman's family at this incredibly difficult time."
Family members had been informed and were being supported by police, Goldie added.
"Police would like to thank those who assisted in search efforts."
Wolvedi's death would be referred to the Coroner.
