Waiuku Museum volunteers have been heartened by community support after items were stolen from a jewellery display earlier this month.
The robbery took place overnight on June 1 and was discovered by Museum President Richard Garvey the following morning.
Waiuku Police Sergeant Michael Robinson said police carried out enquiries into the burglary but at this stage have no further information to advance the investigation.
"A scene of the crime officer has carried out forensic enquiries following the report, and we have also looked for any further lines of enquiry."

Volunteer curator at Waiuku museum Jane Thorne said it was hard to estimate the value of the stolen items.
She said the collection included items of great historic value that had been gifted to the museum, but also some "costume" jewellery that was likely to be worth very little.
"There were gold teddy bear earrings that came from Richardsons Jewellers shop when they closed down... there were also some gold chains.
"There was also a bit of costume jewellery to help fill it up."
Thorne said she was grateful for the support the museum had received from the community so far.
"It's nice to have the support of the public and to know that they care."
Robinson asked "anyone in the community with information about those involved, or who may now be in possession of this jewellery, to come forward".
He said anyone with information to contact police online or call 105 using the reference number 260604/5121.
Information could also be provided anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111.
