Four people have been injured in a three-vehicle crash in Hamilton this afternoon.
Hato Hone St John said three people had been taken to Waikato Hospital. There was one in critical condition, one in serious condition, and one in moderate condition.
The fourth person had been treated at the scene, and was also in a moderate condition.
Four ambulances, a rapid response unit and an operations manager had responded.
Police said the incident occurred on Grey Street near Wellington Street and was reported just after 12.05pm.

Cordons are in place, and motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
"Expect significant delays as the road is expected to be closed for some time," police said.
