A small town in Switzerland has launched a free bus service with no set route, no timetable and no end destination in a bid to boost social connection.
The Line 0 bus began operating in Baden, around 25km northwest of Zürich, this week as a part of a conceptual art project by Swiss twin brothers Frank and Patrik Riklin.
Instead of taking passengers from one place to another, the bus encourages people to hop on, enjoy the ride and hop off wherever they please.
The brothers say the project is designed to enhance social connection and encourage people to take a break from their normal daily routine.
"Normally we are used to getting from A to B as efficiently as possible," Frank Riklin told 9News.

"But here, we are actually called upon to let go."
Bus driver Thomas Bosshard described the artistic concept as "beautiful".
"I like it, it's crazy. It's a good idea," he said.
The Riklin brothers are known in Switzerland for public art projects aimed at sparking conversation and challenging everyday routines.
In 2017 they created the "zero-star hotel", a mock-up hotel room with no walls, ceilings or doors located on a Swiss roadside, encouraging guests to think about the world's problems.
The brothers are also behind Bignik — a large-scale project where thousands of people stitch together picnic blanket squares to create one giant communal blanket, celebrating connection and collaboration.
Organisers told CBS they hoped the concept would spread if the positive response continued to grow.
