Lorde stopped her show at Lollapalooza in Chicago multiple times last week after fans had reportedly passed out in the crowd amid hot weather.
According to Rolling Stone, the Kiwi singer was performing with the temperature around 32C on Thursday (local time).
“There’s someone who needs help right here,” the singer said at one point during her show, pointing towards the crowd.
Multiple reports suggest Lorde stopped her show at least three times during her set over concerns for people in the crowd.
“You look hot from up here,” she said near the beginning of her show, before performing her biggest songs across her career.
According to Page Six, the 29-year-old’s setlist included Royals, Green Light, Supercut and Ribs – and included a surprise guest appearance from Charli XCX to perform their collaboration Girl, So Confusing.
Lorde later posted on social media the show felt like "an out-of-body experience", confiding she went back to the stage during the clean-up to reflect.
The last time Lorde performed at the Lollapalooza festival was in 2014. While she made an appearance in 2017, her set was cut due to severe weather.
Lollapalooza began last Thursday (local time) at Chicago's Grant Park and ends on Sunday in the US.
Headline acts at the festival include Charli XCX, The Smashing Pumpkins, Olivia Dean, Jennie and Tate McRae.
