Person dies following single-vehicle crash in Taranaki

A person has died following a single-vehicle crash in Taranaki this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene at the intersection of Skeet Rd and Palmer Rd in Kapuni around 12.10pm.

Skeet Rd remained closed while the serious crash unit examined the scene, police said.

Motorists were advised to take alternate routes where possible.
