One person has died after an incident involving a commercial lawnmower in Te Kouma this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Te Kouma Rd around 12pm.
"Despite the best efforts of staff and members of the public at the scene, the person sadly died," police said.
The death has been referred to both WorkSafe and the coroner.
