Road reopens after crash blocks SH1 north of Oamaru

State Highway 1 north of Oamaru in Otago has reopened after a two-vehicle crash blocked both directions.

Diversions were in place and motorists were asked to avoid the area.

The road was blocked for several hours.

Police earlier said three people received moderate injuries in the crash.
