After nearly two decades as a professional athlete, Kiwi NRL great Benji Marshall is hanging up his boots.
A title winner with Wests Tigers in 2005 and a World Cup winner with the Kiwis in 2008, he will go down as one of league's greats.
He bowed out in South Sydney's NRL grand final defeat by Penrith last weekend, but told Breakfast's Jenny-May Clarkson being able to play in front of his two young children was a memory he would cherish forever.
Watch his full interview, where he tells Clarkson about the impact becoming a father had on him, and why being a good influence on his family and community means more to him than winning titles.
