Person critically injured after being run over by ride-on vehicle in Dunedin

A man has been injured after being run over by a ride-on lawnmower or tractor in the Dunedin suburb of Fairfield this afternoon. 

The man has since been taken to Dunedin Hospital with what were described as critical injuries.  

A Police spokesperson said they were notified about the incident on Old Brighton Road just after 4 pm.
