Man who died after house fire in Tokomaru Bay named as homicide investigation continues

Raymond Karl Neilson, 48, has been named as the person found dead after a fire in his home in Tokomaru Bay on the East Coast on Sunday. 

Police say Mr Neilson was found in the burning lounge of his home in the early hours of Sunday morning. 

A homicide investigation is underway.

Detective Senior Sergeant Kevin Ford says police are asking for anyone in the Tokomaru Bay community who has information about the death to call the Tokomaru Police Station or 105.
