Business tycoon and ASOS billionaire Anders Holch Povlsen buried three of his four children after a funeral service today following the Easter Sri Lanka bombings that killed more than 250 people.
Mr Povslen and his wife were seen outside Aarhus Cathedral in Denmark as coffins for three of his children, Aldred, Alma and Agnes were escorted by hearses, the Daily Mail reports.
Astrid Povlsen, the only surviving child, was seen cutting flowers from one of the coffins of her siblings.
The Povlsen family were believed to have been on holiday at the Shangri-La Hotel in Sri Lanka’s Colombo when luxury hotels and churches were targeted by suicide bombers on Easter Sunday.
Denmark’s Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen attended the funeral service, alongside members of the Danish Royal Family.
Mr Povlsen is the second-largest individual private landowner in Britain and Scotland’s largest private landowner, NZ Herald reports.
Mr Povlsen owns the Bestseller clothing chain, which owns popular clothing brand ASOS, and has an estimated net worth of just under eight billion.
