Highlanders desperate to keep season alive with home match against Hurricanes

The Highlanders are looking to bounce back after three consecutive losses, as they prepare for the Hurricanes on Friday at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin, a match that could define their season.

The Otago Super Rugby franchise will be desperate to extend their 15 match unbeaten run at their home Forsyth Barr Stadium.

"This is only our second game at home, so I know the guys are really excited to play at home in front of the fans and none better than up against a great Hurricanes team," said Highlanders co-captain Luke Whitelock.

The last loss the Highlanders suffered at home was more than two years ago against the Crusaders.
