Kiwi duo Campbell Stewart and Tom Sexton have asserted New Zealand's dominance at the UCI Track World Cup, winning gold in the madison in Hong Kong.
The pair of 20-year-olds claimed a dramatic victory over Australia, winning in the final sprint to snare double points and pip their trans-Tasman rivals to the gold.
Stewart and Sexton finished the madison event with 33 points, with Australia four back on 29, while France made up the podium in third place.
The win was an impressive feat for Stewart, who along with Aaron Gate last week claimed another gold in Cambridge, as well as taking third in the omnium last week.
