A passenger who sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash in Wairarapa last month has died – nearly three weeks after the incident.
Police are still investigating the crash, which occurred around 1.30am on December 12, on Lake Ferry Road near Martinborough.
The driver survived with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The passenger, however, was taken to Wellington Hospital with critical injuries.
He died yesterday, police said.
