The death of a baby in Napier in the early hours of yesterday morning has been ruled not suspicious, police say.
Emergency responders were called to an address at around 3.45am yesterday and The nine-month-old infant was confirmed dead a short while later.

While police initially viewed the incident as unexplained, they confirmed this afternoon they determined it is not suspicious.
The matter has been referred to the Coroner.
