Slip blocks section of Haast Pass

A slip has blocked a portion of Haast Pass this morning.

It occurred along State Highway 6, about 10 kilometres from Makarora.

Police have said they are not sure how long it will take to clear the debris. They’ve asked motorists to take different routes.
