Someone in Northland has won $8.3 million.
The winning ticket in the Powerball first division draw on Wednesday was sold on MyLotto to a player in Northland and is made up of $8m from Powerball first division and $333,333 from Lotto first division.
This win follows on from a $12.5m Powerball prize won by a Wairarapa couple in early March. The couple held onto their winning ticket for more than a week before claiming their prize.
A player who purchased their ticket at Countdown Amberley and a Taranaki player who got their ticket on MyLotto also won $333,333 each in the Lotto first division draw.
