A video shot in a Russian town shows the enormity of the deadly fire that ripped through a mall and left at least 37 people dead and 69 missing, many of them children.
The clip from the Siberian city of Kemerovo shows a huge plume of black smoke billowing away from the multi-storey building, dwarfing the smoke coming out chimneys in the foreground.
Russian state news agency The Tass reported that 40 of the missing at the Winter Cherry mall in Kemerovo are children.
The report also says that an additional 43 people have been injured in the blaze.
There has been no immediate information on the cause of the fire today in the city 3,000 kilometres east of Moscow.
But Tass reported that the fire started on the top floor of the mall and consumed an area of about 1,500 square meters.
