Man dies after being mowed down by vehicle in Melbourne in incident that left 19 others injured

A man has died after an incident earlier this month in which 20 people were struck by a vehicle in Melbourne, Australia.

Antonios (Anton) Crocaris, 83, died yesterday after the incident in Flinders St on December 21 in which a white SUV ploughed through pedestrians.

A 32-year-old man, Saeed Noori, has been charged with 18 counts of attempted murder and one of conduct endangering life over the incident.
