Crash near Tauranga leaves one person critical

One person is in a critical condition after a crash near Tauranga.

St John ambulance attended the scene on the Te Puke highway this evening. 

Emergency services were called to the scene just before 9.00pm on Boxing Day.

Two ambulances attended and transported the patient to Tauranga Hospital.
