Two teen boys left seriously injured after cycling accidents in Raglan and Whangarei

Two 14-year-old boys were seriously injured in cycling accidents in the upper North Island yesterday. 

One 14-year-old boy was left with serious injuries after crashing off his mountain bike in Whangarei at 6pm yesterday. 

He was taken by the Waikato Westpac Rescue Helicopter to Waikato Hospital.

At 9.30pm last night, the helicopter was dispatched again where another 14-year-old boy was seriously injured after his bike was involved in a crash with a car in Raglan. 

St John reported he is in a critical condition.
