If you are easily grossed out you might not want to watch the video of the so-called fatbergs which have been clogging Brisbane sewer system's recently.
The footage, taken by Queensland Urban Utilities, shows underground pipes gunked up by fatbergs, which are made up of baby wipes, oils and other unsavoury waste products.
The problem is said to escalate around Christmas time when more people are putting oil down their sinks.
"The festive season can be more like the fatberg season, with many people washing the fat from baked ham and roast meats straight down the sink," Queensland Urban Utilities spokesperson Michelle Cull told 9 NEWS.
A Queensland Urban Utilities survey found one in four people washed cooking oils down the kitchen sink, contributing to the fatberg problem.
