A motorbike rider has been caught on dash cam failing an attempted wheelie on a busy Sydney street.
The footage was uploaded to Facebook by Dash Cam Owners Australia and shows the rider turning a corner on a busy street before attempting the stunt on Sunday.
The video shows the biker picking up speed on a straight piece of road before ricking up the front wheel and leaning back too far, falling off the motorbike at high speed as stunned motorists watch on.
Later in the footage the embarrassed rider is seen to pick up the bike and wheel it over to the gutter, where two motorists stop to attempt to help.
The man in the video was only wearing a singlet and shorts, but the video does not show the extent of his injuries.
The video has been shared more than 550 times and has 4,200 likes and reactions.
Users were quick to slam the rider, with one commenting "He deserves every little bit of pain and damage for wearing shorts and a wife beater and not proper gear."
