Fisherman found safe and well after being reported missing from Auckland bay

October 29, 2017

The Coastguard have located a fisherman after receiving a report that they were overdue.

Police say they received a report at 2:15pm that a fisherman was overdue, he was located safe and well near the David Rocks, north of Waiheke Island around 6:50pm.  

The Coastguard had a plane looking for him, as well as two boats and a police eagle helicopter.
