Former Kiwis captain and World Cup winner Nathan Cayless says he's expecting plenty of big hits in tomorrow's match between New Zealand and Samoa.

Cayless, who captained the Kiwis to a World Cup win after they beat the Kangaroos in the 2008 final 34-20, said both teams have rookie and veteran players hoping to prove themselves on the world stage.
"I'm expecting players like Martin Taupau... it's time for him to really take some leadership and ownership of the team.
"Nelson Asofa-Solomona coming off the bench - I can't wait to see him play. He is a man mountain!"
Cayless also mentioned the Samoans have plenty of star power too.
"Frank Pritchard is the captain there leading a massive forward pack.
"They've got some really exciting players in the outside backs as well."
The Kiwis play Toa Samoa at Mount Smart Stadium tomorrow night at 8pm.
