National leader Christopher Luxon is on the campaign trail in Auckland this morning, where he is expected to hold a rally, front media and make a policy announcement.
It comes on the last day to enrol to vote, with advance voting opening tomorrow and just 13 days until the November 7 election.
Today’s announcement follows National’s plan for parents, released yesterday, which includes financial literacy in the school curriculum, KiwiSaver enrolment at birth, a $1500 Baby Boost and three-day postnatal stays.
“National’s plan will deliver a better future for parents and their children,” Luxon said.
Labour leader Chris Hipkins says the cost of living remains the issue voters raise with him most often.
Luxon heads to Taupō this afternoon to meet locals at several community events.
