Warriors centre Rocco Berry has re-signed with the Warriors on a one-year deal for the 2027 NRL season.
The centre wasn’t able to feature for the Warriors NRL side in 2026 due to injury, and made six appearances for the NSW Cup side to help work his way back to full fitness.
Berry initially signed a contract extension to the end of the 2026 season following his impressive 2023 campaign.
“Rocco adds so much to our team when he’s fit, and he’s determined to be ready for next season,” said Warriors head coach Andrew Webster.
“We have so much belief in him. He competes like mad, he’s so fit, he makes our edges chase like he does, and he gives balance to our team. He’s such an important part of our squad.”
After making his debut for the Warriors in 2021 against the Melbourne Storm, Berry has gone on to make 52 appearances for the club, scoring 13 tries.
“We know the player Rocco can be, and we’re committed to giving him every opportunity to return to his best,” said Warriors general manager of recruitment, pathways and development Andrew McFadden.
“While he has faced challenges along the way, especially this year, Rocco has shown how resilient he is as he does all he can to return to the NRL.
