Police are appealing for sightings of 21-year-old Braydon in Christchurch who has not been seen or heard from since September 3. (Source: NZ Police)

Police are appealing for sightings of a 21-year-old from Christchurch who has not been seen or heard from since September 3.

The last confirmed sighting of Braydon was at a service station in Linwood, police said.

Officers had made "extensive inquiries to locate Braydon, however these have been unsuccessful to date".

Police and Braydon's family held serious concerns for his wellbeing, saying this was "extremely out of character for him".

Anyone who had seen Braydon or have any information regarding his whereabouts, please contact Police via 105, referencing file number 260918/8420.
