Silver Ferns head coach Dame Noeline Taurua will stay with the national netball team through 2027.
Dame Noeline's reappointment will see her lead the Silver Ferns at the upcoming Constellation Cup against Australia and next year's Netball World Cup.
Netball New Zealand said the decision to have Dame Noeline remain as the head coach came after the recent success at the Commonwealth Games, where NZ beat Jamaica in the final to claim the gold medal.
Netball New Zealand chief executive Jennah Wootten said the Silver Ferns were lucky to have kept Dame Noeline for the coming year.
“The Silver Ferns programme is a world-class high-performance environment and we are thrilled to have retained the services of Dame Noeline. She is one of the greatest coaches in world netball," she said.
Dame Noeline said she was looking forward to keeping the momentum in the squad following their win in Glasgow.

“I’m also incredibly proud of what this team achieved at the Commonwealth Games. The opportunity now is to build on that success, continue to grow our game and our people, and keep adding to the legacy of the Silver Ferns," she said.
"To be part of this team as we work towards the 2027 Netball World Cup is incredibly special, and I’m excited about what lies ahead.”
The last 12 months or so have been a rollercoaster for the national side, with Dame Noeline and some coaches stood down for a time after some players raised concerns after a training camp in Sydney.
They were later reinstated.
Dame Noeline described the experience as "isolating", telling Breakfast the ordeal was hard to cope with.
"It's horrific, if I'm going to be honest, and something that I've never, over my 25 years, experienced," she said.
The 2027 Netball World Cup will take place in Australia from August 25 to September 5.
