One person is in custody following a serious incident in which three people were hospitalised in Auckland's Epsom this morning.
Emergency services were called to Manukau Rd just after 7am.
"The public can be reassured that one person is in custody," a police spokesperson said.
1News understands the arrested man was naked from the waist down and was tasered by police.
Sources say it was alleged he punched women on the street, got into a car and hit some cyclists and a dog.

Cordons have since been lifted.
St John said it sent four ambulances, two rapid response units, and two managers.
Five patients were assessed at the scene, with three taken to Auckland City Hospital.
One person was critical, one serious and one in moderate condition.
A worker at TasmanFuels said he heard a loud crash as a car rammed into another in the forecourt.
Manthan Patel told 1News a man wearing just a t-shirt got out of the vehicle and tried to steal another car, but it didn’t start.
He said the man was extremely agitated and as he called 111, other drivers ran into the fuel shop for safety.
The man then ran across Manukau Road and started violently attacking a woman’s dog. He said the dog was killed.
A huge swarm of police arrived “very fast” and arrested the man.
He said he had heard the man had earlier hit cyclists, but didn’t see anyone else injured.
ACT Party leader David Seymour, who is the MP for Epsom, said his thoughts were with those affected.
"I will leave for police to communicate details of the incident, but there is no further danger since the one offender is in custody."
