Prime Minister Christopher Luxon spoke to media today from central Auckland.
It followed a busy day for the Government after Transport Minister Chris Bishop this morning released NZTA's Major Transport Projects Pipeline, revealing five Roads of National Significance projects have been pushed into a slower delivery phase with no confirmed construction date.
Cabinet also confirmed today it will not proceed with a blanket ban on cryptocurrency ATMs, opting instead for targeted regulation.
New Zealand also announced it would explore joining Australia and Fiji's newly signed defence pact, which was followed by China firing a nuclear-capable missile into the South Pacific.
