Police are appealing for the public's help to find an 81-year-old Christchurch woman who has been missing since yesterday morning.
Valerie Hargrave left her Woolston home at around 10.30am on Saturday and had not returned, police said in a statement that evening.
She had been wearing a pink cardigan and is described as around 167cm tall and of small build. Hargrave walks with a shuffle but is reasonably mobile, police said.
Police said they and Hargrave's family were very concerned for her wellbeing.
"Her family and police are very concerned about her wellbeing and are urgently seeking any information which will help us find her," a spokesperson said.
Anyone who spots Hargrave is asked to call 111 immediately.
