Prime Minister Christopher Luxon is meeting his Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese in Queensland for their annual leaders' meeting.

The two leaders are speaking from Noosa this afternoon, with Luxon signalling ahead of the meeting that he would raise economic growth and strengthening trans-Tasman trade and business links.

The Indo-Pacific was also on the agenda, with Luxon saying he wanted to align efforts with Australia to support a free and open region.
