Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, marked their eighth wedding anniversary by sharing previously unseen photos of their special day.
Posting several photos across two posts on Instagram, Meghan wrote "Eight years ago today…” along with a “☀️” emoji for the royal wedding’s daytime events and a “🌙” emoji for the couple’s evening reception.
The first post shared images from an evening reception at Frogmore House hosted by King Charles III.
The images show intimate moments from the celebration, including the newlyweds dancing together and sharing a kiss surrounded by guests.
The second post focused on their daytime ceremony, which was held at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, and included a shot of Meghan watching Harry lovingly as he made a speech at the lunchtime reception, as well as Sir Elton John performing.
Around 600 guests attended the couple's 2018 wedding, including the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, Prince William and Kate, the Princess of Wales, and now-King Charles III.
It wasn't just members of the royal family who attended, but also Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams, David and Victoria Beckham, and George and Amal Clooney.
Harry and Meghan’s wedding was widely watched around the world, with an audience exceeding 1.9 billion people.
The anniversary posts come as the couple continue their life in the United States, having stepped back from royal duties in 2020. They now live in California with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
