Some commuter rail services were disrupted this morning after a car crashed down a bank and onto railway lines in north Wellington.

Police said they were called to the scene on Glenside's Middleton Rd about 8.50am on Wednesday.
"A single vehicle crashed down a bank and onto the train tracks."
Wellington Free Ambulance said one patient was taken to Wellington Hospital in a moderate condition.
Metlink said Kāpiti Line services between Wellington and Porirua had been cancelled, but resumed around 11am.
A tow wagon was called to remove the vehicle, police said.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area while emergency services are at the scene.
