1 IKEA reveals opening date of first NZ store
Swedish furniture giant IKEA has revealed the opening date for country's flagship store in Auckland.
This morning, it announced the store in Auckland's Sylvia Park would open to the public on December 4.

An Ōpōtiki couple were sleepless for two nights after discovering they'd won $12.5 million in Saturday's Powerball draw.
The couple, who did not want to be named, bought their ticket on the MyLotto app, picking a few lines "based on the numbers that stand out to us at that time" and auto filling the rest.
3 Director fined $54,000 over illegal boarding house for migrant workers
An Auckland property director, who ran an illegal boarding house for migrant workers, has been fined $54,000.
Paul Knights, who was acting as director of 4 Corners Investment Ltd, had earlier pleaded guilty to the offending. The court said he "knowingly flouted requirements for financial gain".
4 Meningitis case recorded after Dunedin school rugby tournament
A Christchurch high school student has been admitted to hospital with meningococcal meningitis after attending a rugby tournament in Dunedin.
In a letter to parents, Shirley Boys' High School headmaster Tim Grocott said the student was now well, "alert, moving and talking" after being taken to hospital on Tuesday.
