The finalists for the 62nd Halberg awards have been revealed, with six categories being contested by the best athletes in New Zealand over the past year.
The awards are voted based on athletes’ achievements from December 1, 2023 to November 30, 2024.
The winners will be announced on February 18 next year at Spark Arena in Auckland.
Dame Lisa Carrington was the Supreme Halberg Award winner in 2023. She also picked up the coveted Sportswoman of the Year award.
