She is facing a charge of operating a vehicle carelessly and causing a death while under the influence of a drink or drug.
Jason Collins, 65, was found dead by a member of the public on O'Brien Rd in North Shore's Lucas Heights, in the early hours of December 7.

After the latest round of severe weather, mayor Craig Little told Breakfast the situation on the ground in Wairoa was "soul-destroying". He said he had counselled grown men and women who were crying in the street.
"People just don't know how they're going to get ahead of this one. They're uninsured, it's no fault of theirs and they've flooded where we've never flooded. It's just horrible."
