One person has died after a crash involving a motorcyclist and a car in Palmerston North last night.
Emergency services were alerted to the collision in Roslyn at about 7pm.
It occurred at the intersection of Milson Line, Tremaine Ave and Ruahine St.
"The motorcyclist was taken to hospital in a serious condition, where they have later died," a police spokesperson said last night.
"The Serious Crash Unit was notified, and the road is expected to fully reopen shortly."
